Четверо сотрудников Международного уголовного суда (МУС), в том числе россиянин Александр Ходаков, освобождены властями Ливии, сообщает Лента.ру со ссылкой на Reuters.
На пресс-конференции по поводу освобождения своих подчиненных президент МУС Сан-Хюн Сун выразил ливийским властям благодарность за то, что они пошли на встречу международному сообществу.
7 июня 2012 года вместе с Ходаковым в городе Зинтан были задержаны гражданка Австралии Мелинда Тейлор, переводчица из Ливана Хелен Асаф и испанец Эстебан Перальта Лосийа.
Претензии задержавших их бойцов бригады «Абу Бакр Сиддин» относились прежде всего к Тейлор и сопровождавшей ее переводчице. Власти Ливии обвинили Тейлор и Асаф в том, что они пыталась передать шпионские видеокамеры и закодированное письмо сыну Муаммара Каддафи Сейфу аль-Исламу во время встречи с ним в тюрьме.
Остальные двое членов МУС решили оставаться в Ливии, пока их коллег-женщин не отпустят. После этого местные власти ужесточили отношение к ним. 13 июня МИД РФ направил Ливии протест по поводу задержания российского гражданина. В СМИ также появлялась информация о том, что сотрудникам МУС назначен арест сроком полтора месяца, однако официально это объявлено не было.
