Россия разместила зенитно-ракетный комплекс С-300 в Сирии для надежной защиты своих военных, сообщает ТАСС. Об этом заявил глава МИД России Сергей Лавров.
«Нам нужно обеспечить надежную безопасность наших военных, ВКС, нашего пункта материально-технического обеспечения в порту Тартус в ситуации, которая не успокаивается», — сказал он.
«Повторю: и С-400, и С-300 — это сугубо оборонительные вооружения, которые никому не угрожают», — добавил он.
