Представитель администрации Крыма сообщил, что начиная со 2 марта, «добровольно перешли на сторону крымского народа», то есть под юрисдикцию властей Крыма, 5086 военнослужащих внутренних войск, государственной пограничной службы и вооруженных сил Украины, передает «Интерфакс».
В частности, по его словам, правительству Крыма присягнули военнослужащие зенитно-ракетных полков в Евпатории и Феодосии. «На сторону крымского народа» перешли также полк внутренних войск, дислоцированный в Севастополе, пограничная застава в Балаклаве и отдельный батальон в Ялте.
Ранее власти Украины опровергали информацию о массовом переходе военных, находящихся на территории Крыма, в подчинение руководству региона.
