Федеральная служба государственной статистики (Росстат) предлагает перенести всероссийскую перепись населения с 2010г. на 2012г. С заявлением на эту тему на пресс-конференции выступил во Владивостоке заместитель руководителя Росстата Александр Суринов, курирующий методические проблемы статистического учета и подготовку к переписи в российских регионах.
Чиновник отметил, что причина переноса переписи — экономическая. "Перепись — штука дорогая, и в 2010г. нам понадобилось бы потратить на нее 10 млрд руб., а в условиях мирового кризиса следующий год будет для страны нелегким", — пояснил представитель Росстата.
А.Суринов рассказал, что в 2011г. перепись проводить нельзя, так как будут проходить выборы, "а эти два события лучше не совмещать". "Поэтому мы предлагаем перенести перепись на два года и провести ее не позже 2012г., так как, по закону, перепись нужно проводить не реже чем раз в десять лет, а последняя перепись населения России проводилась в 2002г.", — сказал А.Суринов.
По его словам, Росстат уже направил это предложение в Министерство экономического развития. "На словах министр нас уже поддержала, теперь будем ждать соответствующего распоряжения правительства РФ", — сказал А.Суринов.
