Речь идет о возможной постановке металлоискателей, сканирующего оборудования и досмотре пассажиров. Однако на сегодняшний день в предлагаемых мерах вообще много неясностей. Так, в Петербурге нет уполномоченного органа по обеспечению безопасности в метро, нет возможных для оборудования зон досмотра пассажиров, нет однозначного мнения о безопасности сканирования людей, нет финансового обеспечения всей этой системы. Поэтому на данный момент, считает Гарюгин, нужно только укомплектовать штат патрульно-постовых, обеспечить проверку станций метро кинологами и собаками, определить оптимальный состав оборудования для обеспечения безопасности и внедрить интеллектуальную обработку видеоинформации.
