Теперь Федеральная таможенная служба (ФТС) намерена проверять любые компании и индивидуальных предпринимателей, "во владении или собственности которых находились или находятся импортируемые товары". При этом ФТС сможет проверять всю импортную цепочку в течение трех лет с момента ввоза товара. Частных лиц поправки таможни не затронут.
Трехлетняя давность проверок и неограниченный круг компаний, которые можно проверять, уже прописаны в Таможенном кодексе союза России, Казахстана и Белоруссии. Его проект президент России должен подписать 27 ноября, а сам кодекс начнет действовать во всех странах с 1 июля 2010 года.
