Федеральная антимонопольная служба (ФАС) получила подтверждение об оплате ОАО «Газпром нефть» штрафа в размере 4 миллиардов 650 миллионов рублей за злоупотребление доминирующим положением на оптовом рынке нефтепродуктов. Об этом сообщил «Интерфаксу» заместитель руководителя ФАС Анатолий Голомолзин.
15 февраля Высший арбитражный суд РФ подтвердил решение ФАС о взыскании с «Газпром нефти» штрафа за нарушение закона о конкуренции. Компания злоупотребила доминирующим положением, создав дискриминационные условия для независимых участников оптового рынка нефтепродуктов. Своими действиями ОАО «Газпром нефть» также вызвало необоснованный рост цен на автомобильные бензины, авиа-ГСМ и дизельное топливо в период с октября 2008 года по февраль 2009 года.
Решение ФАС о наложении штрафа на «Газпром нефть» было принято в контексте «второй волны» антимонопольных дел против крупнейших топливных компаний. В ходе «первой волны» осени 2008 года штрафы составляли от миллиарда до полутора миллиардов рублей. В начале февраля, после петербургского совещания по ТЭКу, на котором премьер-министр раскритиковал компании за увеличение цен на бензин, ФАС объявила «третью волну». Разбирательства начались в отношении «Роснефти», «Газпром нефти» и ЛУКОЙЛа. На очереди ТНК-ВР, «Башнефть», «Сургутнефтегаз».
