Цены мирового рынка на нефть по итогам торгов 1 сентября 2009г. на ведущих нефтяных биржах значительно понизились. Официальные цены нефтяных фьючерсов ближайшего месяца поставки составили:
в Лондоне на InterContinental Exchange Futures Europe — IPE Brent Crude — 67,73 (-1,92) долл./барр.; в Нью-Йорке на New York Mercantile Exchange — Light, Sweet Crude Oil — 68,05 (-1,91) долл./барр.
Отрицательная динамика в ценах по сделкам вызвана отсутствием каких-либо факторов, способных поддержать рынок.
31 августа цены на нефть упали в среднем на 4%. При этом цена нефти Brent установилась ниже уровня 70 долл./барр. впервые за четыре с половиной недели, цена нефти WTI — первый раз за две недели.
Вместе с тем не исключено, что цены в ближайшее время вновь подрастут. Сегодня был опубликован доклад Американского института нефти (American Petroleum Institute, API), согласно которому коммерческие запасы сырой нефти в США за период с 21 по 28 августа 2009г. уменьшились на 3,193 млн барр.
