Лидеры стран еврозоны утвердили на посту председателя Европейского Центрального банка (ЕЦБ) руководителя Банка Италии Марио Драги, сообщает AFP. 1 ноября Драги сменит во главе ЕЦБ французского финансита Жана-Клода Трише.
С 2006 года Драги возглавляет Банк Италии. До этого руководил министерством финансов Италии, затем работал вице-президентом инвестиционного банка Goldman Sachs.
В управляющий совет ЕЦБ входят представители Португалии, Бельгии, Испании, Италии и Германии.
