9 сентября вступит в силу соглашение между Россией и США об упрощении визовых формальностей, сообщил МИД России.10 августа российские и американские дипломаты обменялись соответствующими нотами.
Соглашение предусматривает выдачу гражданам обеих стран многократных виз на срок до 6 месяцев с даты каждого въезда и действительных в течение 36 месяцев с даты выдачи. Россия будет выдавать деловые, частные, гуманитарные и туристические визы по прямым приглашениям принимающей стороны. США — визы категории В1/В2 (для деловых и туристических поездок). Решения по заявлениям о выдаче визы будут приниматься, как правило, в течение 15 календарных дней с начала их обработки.
«Соглашение направлено на создание более благоприятных условий для взаимных поездок граждан России и США, а также на дальнейшее развитие экономических, культурных, научных, гуманитарных связей между двумя государствами», — говорится в сообщении МИД.
