Европейский суд по правам человека признал незаконными действия российских властей, запрещавших, а затем жестоко разгонявших ежегодные марши гей-активистов. Таким образом суд удовлетворил жалобу организатора шествий Николая Алексеева, который получит в качестве компенсации €29500, говорится в сообщении на официальном сайте ЕСПЧ.
В жалобе Алексеева говорится о гей-парадах, которые прошли с 2006 по 2008 годы.
ЕСПЧ счел, что действия российских властей нарушали положения Конвенции о правах человека.
