В столице Марокко проходит многотысячный митинг, участники которого требуют отставки правительства Аббаса аль-Фаси, принятия новой демократической конституции и решительной борьбы с коррупцией.
Митинг идёт на главной улице города Рабата — проспекте Мохаммеда V. Обстановка спокойная, стычек нет, полиции практически не видно. Одновременно с рабатским состоялся аналогичный митинг в крупнейшем городе страны Касабланке.
Власти Марокко не препятствуют проведению манифестаций. Ими сделано заявление о праве граждан Марокко на свободное выражение мнений.
