Сокращение сотрудников МВД приостановлено в связи с мировым кризисом и угрозой всплеска преступности в стране, заявил зампредкомитета Госдумы по безопасности Геннадий Гудков.
«Начавшийся в 2008 году процесс сокращения структур МВД приостановлен в 2009 году. Планировалось сокращение внутренних войск и патрульно-постовых служб», – отметил Гудков. По его словам, приостановление сокращения структур МВД связано с расширяющимся мировым кризисом, а также с прогнозом всплеска преступности в нашей стране.
Как сообщает РИА «Новости», директор департамента защиты имущества МВД генерал-лейтенант Вадим Савичев заявил, что возможность всплеска преступности обусловлена сокращением рабочих мест, особенно в строительстве, невыплатами зарплаты, особенно в отношении иностранных граждан, которые работают на стройках. В первую очередь это коснется крупных мегаполисов, таких, как Москва и Санкт-Петербург.
«В этой связи органы МВД принимают все необходимые меры для того, чтобы адекватно реагировать на складывающуюся оперативную обстановку», – сказал Савичев.
