Об этом сообщает The Wall Street Journal со ссылкой на американских чиновников, знакомых с выводами спецслужб.
По мнению американских спецслужб, причиной крушения А321 стал теракт, подготовленный боевиками египетского подразделения «Исламского государства» организацией «Синайская провинция», возможно, без согласования с ИГ.
При этом чиновники высокого уровня подтвердили изданию, что спецслужбы США обладаюет «высокой степенью уверенности» в том, что причиной крушения самолета стала заложенная боевиками бомба.
Накануне британская газета Sunday Times сообщила, что Британия получила данные о том, что к крушению А321 причастен лидер ячейки ИГ Абу Усама аль-Масри, который, по информации издания, заключил соглашение с ИГ в прошлом году в Сирии.
Российский самолет Airbus A321 авиакомпании «Когалымавиа», вылетевший утром 31 октября из Шарм-эль-Шейха в Санкт-Петербург, потерпел крушение на Синайском полуострове Египта. Погибли все пассажиры и члены экипажа, находившиеся на борту.
