В Ступинском районе Подмосковья обнаружили тела двух студенток, пропавших 5 ноября, сообщает РИА Новости со ссылкой на источник в правоохранительных органах. Мария Веревкина училась на втором курсе юридического факультета РОСНОУ, Юлия Картушина – на пятом курсе Московского юридического института.
Девушки пропали в субботу, отправившись к другу на день рождения. Их обнаружили в понедельник около 13:00 в сточной канаве у заброшенного стадиона в поселке Михнево. У обеих подруг проломлены головы.
В ходе расследования по подозрению в убийстве были задержаны двоих мужчин. Установить предполагаемых убийц девушек удалось благодаря тому, что они пытались воспользоваться телефоном одной из жертв. Один из убийц, 44-летний Александр Семкин, ранее был судим за групповое изнасилование.
«В настоящее время с ними проводятся следственные действия. В рамках уголовного дела назначены судебно-медицинские, а также иные экспертизы. Расследование уголовного дела продолжается», – сообщил Lifenews официальный представитель Следственного комитета РФ Владимир Маркин.
Напомним, 13 сентября в районе МГУ им. Ломоносова пропала 22-летняя студентка Ирина Артемова. Поисками девушки, помимо следователей, занимались более 700 волонтеров, но никаких следов студентки до сих пор не обнаружено. По факту исчезновения девушки возбуждено уголовное дело по статье «Убийство».
