Российское правительство выделит 21 млрд рублей на реконструкцию крупнейшего детского лагеря СССР «Артек». Об этом сообщила зампредседатель правительства России Ольга Голодец. Средства будут выделены в рамках в рамках проекта федеральной целевой программы по социально-экономическому развитию Крыма и Севастополя до 2020 года.
По ее словам, программа по развитию «Артека» уже утверждена, а реконструкция займет четыре года.
Ранее сообщалось, что на развитие «Артека» правительство планирует выделить 895 млн рублей. Деньги намеревались потратить на капитальный ремонт зданий, закупку дополнительного оборудования, а также на установку системы безопасности.
В мае этого года в лагере уже была открыта первая смена после присоединения Крыма к России.
В 2015 году «Артеку» исполнится 90 лет. Наряду с «Орленком», он являлся крупнейшим детским центром в СССР.
