Пассажиры "Балтийской" получат альтернативный выход: комитет Смольного по развитию транспортной инфраструктуры объявил конкурс на проектирование второго выхода со станции. Стоимость проектировочных работ оценивается в 83 миллиона рублей. Разработка будет производиться в три этапа. Первый завершается 10 декабря этого года, второй — 18 июля 2014 года, третий — 10 декабря 2014 года.
Если второй выход с "Балтийской" будет построен, пассажиры смогут выходить в город южнее пересечения набережной Обводного канала и Варшавского проезда.
