Шестерых сотрудников полиции, получивших ранения различной степени тяжести в ходе беспорядков на Болотной площади 6 мая, наградили квартирами в Москве, сообщает Лента.ру со ссылкой на «Интерфакс». Агентство, в свою очередь, ссылается на ГУ МВД России по Москве.
Среди награжденных оказались четыре сотрудника ОМОНа и два полицейских из 2-го оперативного полка московской полиции.
По словам представителя полиции, решение о награждении сотрудников было принято правительством Москвы. Как ранее сообщил телеканалу «Дождь» глава профсоюза сотрудников правоохранительных органов Михаил Пашкин, пострадавшие получили двухкомнатные квартиры. По мнению Пашкина, как минимум одного награжденного полицейского следовало, напротив, наказать, так как он получил травму из-за того, что вышел обеспечивать порядок на акции без шлема.
Беспорядки на Болотной площади 6 мая начались во время массовой акции гражданского протеста «Марш миллионов». Участники этой акции должны были пройти шествием от Калужской до Болотной площади, где был запланирован митинг. До Болотной, однако, они не добрались: на подходе к площади часть людей отказалась идти дальше и устроила сидячую забастовку.
Вскоре после этого полиция применила силу против участников акции, а те в ответ стали бросать в полицейских бутылки и куски асфальта. В результате митинг был отменен. В ходе столкновений пострадали многие протестующие и около 30 полицейских, некоторые из них были госпитализированы. Всего в тот день в районе Болотной и в других местах в центре Москвы было задержано более 400 человек.
После разгона акции полиция занялась поиском зачинщиков беспорядков; по факту случившегося было возбуждено несколько уголовных дел.
