Крупный пожар на авиабазе ВМФ РФ в Коломенском районе Подмосковья произошел в конце июля, когда природные пожары бушевали во многих регионах РФ. По данным СКП, сгорели штаб, финансовая часть, клуб, два бокса автомобильного парка, 13 хранилищ с авиационным имуществом различного назначения, 17 открытых площадок для хранения техники с находившимися на них автомобилями. В связи с пожаром президент РФ Дмитрий Медведев уволил целый ряд высокопоставленных сотрудников ВМФ РФ, а главком ВМФ адмирал Владимир Высоцкий был предупрежден о неполном служебном соответствии.
"Комиссия завершила подсчет ущерба, он составил сумму в 6 миллиардов рублей", — сказал собеседник агентства.
Он сообщил, что в основном во время пожара сгорели запчасти для летательных аппаратов, которые уже не стоят на вооружении флотской авиации.
"Это в основном запчасти к самолетам Ту-16, Су-17, вертолетам Ми-4 и Ми-16", — сказал источник.
