Страны-экспортеры соперничают за туркменский газ

Когда спорят двое, радуется третий. В последнее время верность этой поговорки наглядно подтвердили события вокруг Туркмении. После того как в апреле 2008 года государство, обладающее четвертыми в мире по объему запасами газа, поссорилось с его практически единственным покупателем, с Россией, страны-экспортеры газа поняли, что для них наступил благоприятный момент, пишет австрийская Die Presse.

Первым на месте, рассказывает автор публикации Эдуард Штайнер, оказался Иран, который зарезервировал за собой десятую часть туркменского газа — 8 млрд кубометров — с намерением в дальнейшем увеличить этот объем в 2,5 раза. Проворным оказался и Китай. В июне был подписан долгосрочный договор, а уже 14 декабря открылся новый газопровод Туркмения-Китай.

Довольны не только импортеры, но и сама Туркмения, постепенно освобождающаяся от односторонней зависимости от России, обусловленной направленностью еще советской газопроводной сети, что позволяло северному соседу диктовать Туркмении свои условия. Теперь, обхаживаемое со всех сторон, среднеазиатское государство само устанавливает цену для Москвы.

Однако в результате сотрудничества Туркмении с Китаем проиграла не только Россия, но и ЕС, приводит мнение экспертов австрийское издание. Последнему нужен туркменский газ для заполнения газопровода Nabucco, судьба которого по-прежнему остается неопределенной.
