В результате крушения парома на реке Нил в египетской провинций Кафр-эль-Шейх погибли по меньшей мере 18 человек, сообщает Xinhua.
Паром осуществлял перевозку между двумя городами провинций Бухейра и Кафр-эль-Шейх, всего на нем находились 22 человека.
На месте происшествия работают спасатели.
О причинах инцидента пока ничего не известно. Не исключается, что к трагедии могли привести плохая погода или перегуз судна.
