Хакерские атаки на сервер Демократической партии США во время предвыборной президентской кампании могли быть проведены только с разрешения высшего руководства России. Об этом заявили в совместном документе директор национальной разведки США Джеймс Клеппер, заместитель министра обороны по разведке Марсель Леттре и глава Агентства нацбезопасности и Киберкомандования ВС США адмирал Майкл Роджерс, передает Reuters.
Документ был распространен 5 января в сенатском комитете по делам вооруженных сил.
«Мы считаем, что только самые высокопоставленные официальные лица в России могли санкционировать недавнее хищение и огласку данных, связанных с выборами в США», — говорится в заявлении.
Авторы поясняют, что выводы основаны на «масштабе и важности целей атаки».
Директор национальной разведки США Джеймс Клэппер также заявил, что у Москвы богатая история вмешательства в выборы, в том числе и в других странах. В то же время США «никогда не сталкивались со столь агрессивной или прямой кампании по вмешательству в избирательный процесс», сказал Клэппер.
Ранее сенатор-республиканец Джон Маккейн заявил, что расследование кибератак во время президентских выборов в США в 2016 году, совершенных, как предполагают в Штатах, Россией, не имеет своей целью поставить под сомнение победу избранного президента страны Дональда Трампа.
