Звукозаписывающие компании потребовали взыскать с социальной сети «ВКонтакте» 50 миллионов рублей компенсации за размещение нелегального музыкального контента на страницах сети. Иск в арбитражный суд Ленинградской области подали фирмы Sony Music Russia, Universal Music Russia и Warner Music UK, сообщается на сайте Международной федерации производителей фонограмм.
Кроме того, компании потребовали, чтобы ВК удалила контрафактные музыкальные файлы, список которых приводятся в иске.
Также фирмы требуют через суд обязать «ВКонтакте» принять меры, направленные на предотвращение несанкционированной повторной загрузки этих же музыкальных файлов.
