Высокоскоростные поезда «Сапсан», с момента запуска которых в пятницу исполняется год, перевезли за это время более 1,8 миллиона человек, написал в своем блоге президент ОАО «РЖД» Владимир Якунин.
«После запуска «Сапсана» появилась даже определенная «мода» на путешествия по железной дороге, о чем свидетельствуют заранее раскупленные билеты и более 1,8 миллиона пассажиров, перевезенных за год», — пишет Якунин.
По мнению главы компании, «Сапсан» — это «самый успешный и востребованный проект РЖД».
Ранее Якунин, отвечая на вопросы в своем блоге, написал, что, согласно прогнозам, проект окупится примерно в течение 8-10 лет и это не такой длительный срок с учетом того, что эксплуатация поездов будет происходить в течение 30 лет.
В свою очередь, глава дирекции скоростного сообщения РЖД Дмитрий Пегов сообщил журналистам, что в 2011 году поездами «Сапсан» планируется перевезти более 2 миллионов пассажиров. «При оптимистичном прогнозе «Сапсан» может перевозить в год более 2 миллионов пассажиров», — сказал Пегов.
По его словам, по предварительным подсчетам, выручка «Сапсанов» в текущем году составит более 5 миллиардов рублей.
Поезда «Сапсан» начали курсировать между Москвой и Санкт-Петербургом с 17 декабря с прошлого года. Сейчас ежедневно выполняется по семь рейсов из каждого города. С 30 июля этого года «Сапсаны» ездят между Нижним Новгородом и Москвой, отправляясь по два раза в день из каждого города, при этом один из рейсов следует до Санкт-Петербурга. Время в пути от Москвы до Петербурга составляет 3 часа 45 минут, от Москвы до Нижнего — 3 часа 55 минут.
В настоящее время в парке РЖД восемь высокоскоростных поездов «Сапсан». РЖД и немецкий концерн Siemens в мае 2006 года подписали контракт на поставку поездов «Сапсан» общей стоимостью 276 миллионов евро. В апреле 2007 года подписан договор технического обслуживания поездов в течение 30 лет на сумму 354,1 миллиона евро.
