Международное рейтинговое агентство Moody’s снизило рейтинг приоритетных необеспеченных долговых обязательств крупнейшего кипрского банка Bank of Cyprus на две ступени — с «Caa3» до дефолтного уровня «С», говорится в сообщении агентства.
Рейтинг по депозитам Bank of Cyprus понижен с «Саа3» на одну ступень до «Ca» («дефолт с минимальными перспективами восстановления»), с негативным прогнозом.
Причины снижения рейтингов – негативные ожидания экспертов в отношении крупных убытков вкладчиков по незастрахованным депозитам в Bank of Cyprus в ближайшие месяцы.
В то же время Moody’s подтвердило депозитный рейтинг другой кредитной организации Кипра — Hellenic Bank Public Company на уровне «Саа3» с «негативным» прогнозом.
