В сообщении говорится, что руководство финансовых пирамид распространяет от имени Сбербанка рекламные листовки «МММ-201» и «МММ-2012», а также использует счета финорганизации для расчетов между участниками и обещает компенсации вкладчикам Сбербанка СССР.
16 июня основатель МММ Сергей Мавроди заявил о прекращении работы "МММ-2011", в которой в конце мая были приостановлены выплаты. Мавроди также объявил о запуске нового проекта «МММ-2012», с помощью которого он намерен рассчитаться с участниками предыдущей финансовой пирамиды, оставшимися без денег.
