«Понижение рейтинга отражает нашу позицию, которая состоит в том, что правительственная стратегия вряд ли сможет обеспечить необходимый объем иностранной валюты для удовлетворения растущих потребностей», — сообщается в материалах агентства.
21 сентября кредитный рейтинг страны понизило другое международное агентство — Moody‘s. Показатель был снижен с «B3» до уровня «Саа1», в виду повышения угрозы дефолта стрны: Киев не смог договориться с МВФ о выделении кредита, в то время как золотовалютные резервы страны находятся на низком уровне.
