Британское правительство планирует начать официальную процедуру выхода из Европейского союза (Brexit) до конца марта 2017 года, несмотря на постановление Высокого суда Лондона, передает Reuters. Об этом заявил представитель премьер-министра Великобритании Терезы Мэй.
В правительстве Мэй не согласны с решением суда о том, что Brexit можно начать только с разрешения парламента Соединенного Королевства, и намерены обжаловать его.
По словам представителя Мэй, премьер не считает, что парламент пойдет на блокировку процесса выхода.
«Мы по-прежнему планируем запустить статью 50 до конца марта. Мы считаем, что судебные сроки позволят сделать это», — заявили в правительстве, добавив, что Мэй «не имеет намерений позволить данным событиям замедлить запуск Brexit».
Ранее Высокий суд Лондона постановил, что Brexit может быть запущен только с одобрения парламента Британии.
