Египетская экстремистская группировка «Ансар Бейт аль-Макдис» присягнула на верность террористической группировке «Исламское государство», сообщает во вторник, 4 ноября, Reuters.
«Мы решили присягнуть на верность лидеру ИГ Абу Бакру аль-Багдади», — говорится в заявлении боевиков. Также боевики в своем заявлении отметили, что поддерживают действия ИГ в Сирии и Ираке.
Ранее стало известно, что боевики подконтрольной «Аль-Каеде» группировки «Ансар Бейт аль-Макдис» координируют с ИГ свои атаки, в частности, на представителей силовых структур арабской республики.
Боевики «Ансар Бейт аль-Макдис» совершают свои атаки на севере Синайского полуострова практически ежедневно — на армейские патрули, расположения вооруженных сил и сотрудников правоохранительных органов. В частности, 6 октября они казнили четверых египтян, обвинив их в связях с израильской разведкой и шпионаже в пользу египетских силовиков.
В начале октября свою помощь боевикам «Исламского государства» предложили представители движения «Талибан», заявив, что готовы оказать им помощь в создании всемирного Исламского халифата.
В октябре текущего года в состав террористической организации «Исламское государство» вошло «Исламское движение Узбекистана».
Террористическая группировка «Исламское государство» активизировалась в начале лета этого года и захватила значительные участки территории Сирии и Ирака. США во главе международной коалиции в августе начали силовую операцию против ИГ в Ираке.
