Как отмечаются на сайте ведомства, глава Роскосмоса Анатолий Перминов считает, что основополагающим моментом в этом вопросе является орбитальная группировка. «Сейчас на орбите реально действует 21 космический аппарат. Для того, чтобы ГЛОНАСС заработала по всему миру, нужно не менее 24», — пояснил он.
По его словам, если запуски новых спутников пройдут в установленные в этом году сроки, до конца декабря орбитальная группировка будет состоять из 24 аппаратов, а может быть и более. Таким образом, система ГЛОНАСС заработает по всему миру, добавил Перминов.
