Ранее Чубаров отмечал, что его соплеменники не допустят отделения Крыма от Украины.
Нынешнее руководство Крыма пообещало гарантировать права и свободы крмскотатарской общины в случае присоединения к РФ. Однако обещания допустить к принятию управленческих решений и профинансировать обустройство не повлияло на позицию крымских татар.
