Силовики в Киеве приняли решение передислоцироваться на более безопасные позиции и применить оружие для самозащиты. Об этом сообщили в пресс-службе внутренних войск МВД. Такая мера принята после атаки снайпера, ранившего в центре Киева 20 милиционеров.
«С целью сохранения жизни и здоровья правоохранителей было принято решение переместить личный состав на более безопасные позиции и, в соответствии с действующим законодательством, применить оружие для самозащиты», — говорится в сообщении.
Ранее МВД официально разъяснило свою позицию по поводу применения правоохранителями огнестрельного оружия, подчеркнув, что против мирного населения правоохранители «не применяли и не будут применять оружие», зато на попытки экстремистов будут реагировать согласно Закону «О милиции».
