Проигрывающий по итогам президентских выборов в Мексике бывший мэр Мехико Андрес Мануэль Лопес Обрадор отказался признать победу своего соперника Энрике Пенья Ньето, назвав результаты голосования «мошенническими», сообщает ВВС.
По итогам голосования по данным избиркома страны, кандидат от оппозиции Пенья Ньето, выдвинутый кандидатом от оппозиции набирает 38% голосов. Обрадор отстает от него почти на 6%.
Обрадор утверждает, что в ходе голосования партия, выдвинувшая его соперника, многократно нарушала закон о выборах, занимаясь в том числе подкупом голосов и открытой поддержкой своего кандидата в крупнейших СМИ.
Между тем кандидат от оппозиции Пенья Ньето уже празднует победу. Накануне он заявил, что его Институционно-революционная партия станет основной силой в новом правительстве. Он также заявил, что его уже поздравили с победой ряд мировых лидеров, в том числе президент США Барак Обама и премьер-министр Великобритании Дэвид Кэмерон.
