Шведская прокуратура сняла с редактора Wikileaks Джулиана Ассанжа третье обвинение в сексуальном преступлении в связи с истечением срока давности дела, передает РИА «Новости».
«Преступления, в которых подозревается Ассанж и которые не будут расследоваться за давностью лет, были названы на прошлой неделе, и каких-либо дополнительных сообщений для прессы не предполагается», — заявили в пресс-службе прокуратуры.
По словам адвоката женщины, обвинившей в 2010 году Ассанжа в сексуальном домогательстве, она хотела бы, чтобы Ассанж предстал перед судом, но сейчас «ей хочется оставить все это позади».
Ранее сообщалось, что прокуратура Швеции сняла с Ассанжа часть обвинений.
