Сегодня утром неизвестные обстреляли автомобиль Курбанова на улице Монташева. Сам Курбанов и его водитель в результате полученных ранений погибли.
О возможных мотивах убийства не сообщается.
Курбанов стал руководителем пресс-службы президента Магомедсалама Магомедова весной 2010 года. Ранее он был министром по национальной политике, информации и внешним связям республики.
