В сирийском город Дараа, куда утром для массовой зачистки вошли правительственные войска и бронетехника, власти открыли огонь по демонстрантам, сообщает агентство «France-Presse», ссылаясь на показания очевидцев.
Тела убитых и раненых остаются лежать на улицах, снайперы не позволяют жителям их забрать, открывая огонь по всем приближающимся к ним. В городе отключены свет, нет телефонной связи.
В центре города правительственные войска разместили тяжелую бронетехнику, которую также используют против жителей Дара.
Свидетели из числа повстанцев также сообщают, что утром в понедельник войска были введены по крайней мере еще в два города, расположенные рядом с Дамаском — Думу и Аль-Муадамию. По данным агентства «Reuters» сейчас в Думе проводят аресты манифестантов, также слышна стрельба. Как и в Дараа, в городе отключена телефонная связь, выезды из Думы заблокированы.
Всего по данным AFP, начиная с пятницы, в Сирии были убиты около 130 человек.
