«Мы считаем неправомерным участие Союза архитекторов, профессиональной организации, в политической деятельности. Союз образован по профессиональному признаку, а не исходя из политических пристрастий его членов, и должен объединять архитекторов с разными политическими взглядами, — заявляют авторы письма. — Мы полагаем, что профессиональная деятельность архитектора (так же, как и врача, юриста) должна быть свободна от политической составляющей».
