Петербургские депутаты приняли в первом чтении законопроект, запрещающий проведение конкурсов красоты среди детей младше 16 лет. Об этом сообщается на сайте городского парламента.
Автор законопроекта Виталий Милонов пояснил свою инициативу тем, что участвующие в конкурсах красоты дети подрывают свое физическое и психологическое здоровье, прибегая к диетам и изнурительным упражнениям. Кроме того, по его мнению, участие в подобных конкурсах «может привести к внутриличностному конфликту».
Милонов напомнил, что аналогичный закон действует во Франции.
Нарушение данного закона планируется наказывать штрафом: для физических лиц в размере от 1000 до 5000 рублей, для должностных лиц — до 50 тысяч рублей, для юридических лиц — от 250 тысяч до 500 тысяч рублей.
