Значительная часть урожая американской пшеницы пострадала из-за проливных дождей в зерновых районах страны, что может сказаться на доле американской пшеницы в общемировом экспортном объеме, сообщает Международный совет по зерну.
«Однако ожидаемое сокращение поставок зерна из Соединенных Штатов будет компенсировано за счет их увеличений из России, Украины и Канады», — отметил сотрудник совета, передает ИТАР-ТАСС.
Доля американской пшеницы может упасть до 17,6%, хотя в минувшем аграрном году она составляла 20,3%.
Согласно оценкам, в текущем году мировое производство пшеницы увеличится на 6,9% по сравнению с предыдущим годом и составит 701,1 млн метрических тонн.
При этом независимые специалисты ожидают роста производства пшеницы в России на 48%, на Украине — на 40 % и в Канаде — на 6,6%.
