В Главном следственном управлении Петербурга сообщили о том, что в медицинском университете имени Павлова было установлено хищение 117 миллионов рублей. Ущерб университету был нанесён при закупке томографов. Как сообщается, к хищению бюджетных средств привело завышение стоимости томографов. В 2007 году университет заключил договор на поставку оборудования с компаниями «МедСтор» и «Балтия». По данному делу в качестве подозреваемых проходят три человека.
Напомним, что расследования преступлений при закупке томографов начались летом 2010 года с подачи президента РФ Дмитрия Медведева. Тогда он потребовал «прекратить хамское воровство». По данным Генпрокуратуры РФ, лишь за 3 года в России при закупках томографов злоумышленники похитили более 3 миллиардов рублей. Нарушения были выявлены в 45 регионах.
