Глава Эрмитажа Михаил Пиотровский отказал группе общественных активистов провести молебен в главном музее города. Об этом Пиотровский заявил 2 февраля журналистам в Петербурге на пресс-конференции в информационном агентстве «Интерфакс».
Глава Эрмитажа пояснил: «Есть порядок даже и для молебнов в Эрмитаже. Он может проводиться только по решению дирекции».
Он добавил, что посоветовался с настоятелем церкви Спаса Нерукотворного Образа в Эрмитаже и Князь-Владимирского собора, отцом Владимиром.
«Когда мы начинаем говорить о серьезных вещах церковных, надо думать, читать… Надо действовать по протоколу, по моральным правилам, которые существуют для общения светских и духовных властей», — добавил глава Эрмитажа.
«Люди имеют право прийти и тихо помолиться», — сказал он.
