Ещё один сын президента может не состояться как наследник

Сын президента Экваториальной Гвинеи Теодоро Обианг-младший заказал немецкой компании Kusch Yachts яхту стоимостью $380 млн. Эта сумма втрое превышает бюджетные расходы на образование и здравоохранение.

Теодоро Обианг – известная фигура всемирной богемы. Власти Экваториальной Гвинеи отмолчаться не могли. Канцелярия правительства подтвердила факт строительства яхты, однако уточнила, что роскошное плавсредство приобретается на личные средства Обианга-младшего как частного бизнесмена. Равно как особняк за $35 млн, лайнер за $33 млн, парк роскошных автомобилей… При этом оклад Теодоро Обианга как министра сельского хозяйства — $6799 в месяц.

Президент Экваториальной Гвинеи Теодоро Обианг-старший правит небольшой африканской страной 31 год. Он пришёл к власти, свергнув гротескного тирана Франсиско Масиаса Нгуэму, монстра, считавшегося колдуном-зомби, и имевшего 45 государственных титулов, включая «Неповторимое чудо» и «Гроссмейстер образования науки и культуры». Государственный девиз Экваториальной Гвинеи при Масиасе звучал: «Экваториальная Гвинея создана Масиасом». В правящую «единую партию трудящихся» загоняли всё трудоспособное население, экономика подминалась госсобственностью, ближайшим внешним союзником была кимирсеновская КНДР, на приговорённых к смертной казни спускались своры голодных собак… Иначе говоря, «социалистическая ориентация».

Пхеньянские покровители не спасли Масиаса от падения. Параноическая подозрительность тоже не помогла – удар пришёл оттуда, откуда «Неповторимое чудо» никак не могло его ждать. Заговор возглавил родной племянник «Гроссмейтера, создавшего Экваториальную Гвинею», отличавшийся особой жестокостью в расправах с оппозицией. Не дрогнула у него рука и при расстреле дяди. Когда в экваториально-гвинейской армии не нашлось ни одного стрелка, который бы решился спустить курок (не то, чтобы Масиаса любили, но очень боялись посмертной мести зомби), было вызвано специальное отделение марокканцев. И вопрос был решён.

Племянника зовут Теодоро Обианг Нгуэма. Правда, последняя часть имени обычно не упоминается – дабы не создавать ассоциаций между бывшим и нынешним президентами Экваториальной Гвинеи.

Поначалу Обианг провёл в стране серьёзные реформы. Прекратился перманентный террор времён Масиаса, распущена единая партия власти, введена многопартийная система, осуществлена приватизация, утвердилась свобода торговли и мелкого бизнеса… А в 1991 году в прибрежном шельфе была обнаружена нефть. В результате сегодня Экваториальная Гвинея занимает по формальным показателям жизненного уровня первое место в Чёрной Африке – среднедушевой ВВП превышает $36 тыс.

Но чем дальше, тем больше Теодоро Обианг начинал напоминать Масиаса Нгуэму. Режим приобретал всё более диктаторский характер (тем более, что никуда не делись кадры, поднаторевшие при «неповторимом гроссмейстере»). Было официально объявлено, что президент «подобен небесам и находится с ними в постоянном контакте». Несколько попыток переворота (к одной из них был причастен сын Маргарет Тэтчер), были быстро и жёстко подавлены.

Если Масиас Нгуэма был подобен Муамару Каддафи, то Теодоро Обианг – в каком-то смысле Хосни Мубараку. Не удивительно, что 68-летний президент готовит передачу власти сыну – Теодоро-младшему, типичному герою мирового гламура, более известному под игривым именем Теодорин. Но и Мубарак, и Каддафи рассуждали примерно так же. Время явно не очень походит, чтобы на весь мир рассказывать о покупках яхт.
