Действующий глава Национальной коалиции сирийской оппозиции и революционных сил Ахмед аль-Джарба не поедет на мирную конференцию в Женеву, передает Reuters со ссылкой на источник в окружении политика. Издание добавляет, что такую позицию Ахмеда Джарбы разделяют его соратники.
Джарба выступает за перенос международной конференции «Женева-2», проведение которой намечено на 22 января, на более поздний срок.
«Необходимо создать благоприятные условия для проведения конференции», — заявил сирийский оппозиционный лидер на заседании Генассамблеи Нацкоалиции, которая проходит в эти дни в Турции.
Сегодня будет объявлено окончательное решение коалиции по участию в мирной конференции под эгидой Москвы, Вашингтона и ООН.
