Премьер-министр Словакии Роберт Фицо призвал отменить санкции ЕС против России, передает ТАСС.
«Санкции не дали ожидаемого эффекта. Они навредили как Европе, так и России. Не знаю, кого может устраивать этот взаимный ущерб», — заявил глава правительства Словакии.
«Нам не нужны ни санкции, ни бряцание оружием, но нужен мирный диалог и конкретные результаты. Если минские соглашения будут выполняться, я стану первым, кто проголосует за дальнейшую поддержку их имплементации через послабление санкций. На мой взгляд, это самый правильный подход», — подчеркнул словацкий премьер.
По словам Фицо, санкции «могут быть лишь инструментом или одним из инструментов при решении возникающих сложных ситуаций».
Глава словацкого правительства также подчеркнул, что неэффективность санкций доказана историческим опытом, приведя в пример санкции в отношении Кубы.
