Президент России Дмитрий Медведев поручил своей администрации изучить возможности ограничения количества мест в Госдуме для победившей на парламентских выборах партии, сообщает РИА «Новости».
Инициатором предложения стал лидер партии «Правое дело» Михаил Прохоров. По его мнению, ни одна партия не должна иметь более 226 представителей в Госдуме. Общее число депутатов в Государственной думе РФ составляет 450. В случае, если предложение Прохорова, о необходимости рассмотрения которого заявил президент, будет претворено в жизнь, гегемония какой-либо партии в нижней палате парламента станет невозможной.
