Российская делегация не будет участвовать в работе сессии ПА ОБСЕ, несмотря на письмо председателя Илкки Канервы с предложением пересмотреть данное решение. Об этом заявил спикер Государственной думы России Сергей Нарышкин, сообщает РИА «Новости».
«Я получил письмо от председателя Парламентской ассамблеи ОБСЕ господина Канервы. Он призывает участвовать в работе Парламентской ассамблеи, но наш ответ однозначный: мы считаем недопустимым снижение уровня российского представительства на сессии Парламентской ассамблеи», — отметил Нарышкин.
В то же время, по его словам, Россия не прекращает работу в ПА ОБСЕ и продолжит защищать свои инициативы.
Ранее Канерва предложил делегации из России приехать в Хельсинки, несмотря на разногласия.
