Председателем правления государственной компании "Российские автомобильные дороги" (Росавтодор) официально назначен бывший вице-губернатор Санкт-Петербурга Сергей Тарасов. Как сообщает пресс-служба правительства РФ, соответствующее распоряжение 15 октября 2009г. подписал председатель правительства РФ Владимир Путин.
С.Тарасов родился 15 июля 1959г. в Кыргызстане. Окончил Ленинградский кораблестроительный институт по специальности "судостроение и судоремонт" и факультет международных отношений Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета.
В 1998г. С.Тарасов был избран депутатом Законодательного собрания Петербурга второго созыва и возглавил ЗакС, в 2002г. — переизбран в городской парламент третьего созыва. В 2003г. С.Тарасов был назначен вице-губернатором Петербурга. В этой должности он отвечал за науку, образование, культуру, СМИ, молодежную политику и спорт. В мае 2008г. стал членом Совета Федерации от Петербурга.
