Главный штаб Военно-морского флота (ВМФ) России начал переезд из Москвы в Санкт-Петербург. Об этом сообщил РИА Новости в понедельник главнокомандующий ВМФ вице-адмирал Виктор Чирков.
Предшественник Чиркова на посту главкома ВМФ адмирал Владимир Высоцкий был уволен именно из-за отказа перевести главный штаб флота из Москвы в северную столицу.
«Я уже фактически работаю в Санкт-Петербурге, со мной находится группа начальников органов центрального управления главного командования ВМФ», — сказал Чирков.
