Совет Федерации ратифицировал соглашение о бессрочном размещении авиагруппы Вооруженных сил России в Сирии, передает РИА «Новости».
В соответствии с соглашением, подписанным представителями России и Сирии в Дамаске в 2015 году, российской стороне на безвозмездной основе будет предоставлен аэродром Хмеймим в провинции Латакии вместе с инфраструктурой и необходимой территорией.
Отмечается, что состав авиагруппы будет определяться представителями российской стороны по согласованию с властями Сирии.
