Компания Unilever, выпускающая продукцию под маркой Calve и «Балтимор», закрывает свою фабрику в Санкт-Петербурге, сообщает РБК. Выпуск всей продукции этих брендов будет сосредоточен на площадке в Тульской области.
190 сотрудников петербургской фабрики будут сокращены, участок 13 га планируется продать за 24–30 млн долларов, но покупателей будет трудно найти, полагают эксперты.

«Петербург остается для нас стратегическим регионом, доказавшим свою эффективность с точки зрения размещения наших двух фабрик – чаеразвесочной и парфюмерно-косметической», – говорят в Unilever.
Аналитики считают, что с точки зрения логистики Петербург для производства томатных соусов удобнее Тулы, так как сырье практически полностью импортируется. «Однако, несмотря на рост расходов на перевозку, процесс станет более экономически эффективным, поскольку объединение производств приведет к сокращению операционных расходов», – поясняет эксперт.
